Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration was a limited-time pop-up experience observing the character’s 90th anniversary. It opened in April 2019 replacing Downtown Disney District’s recently closed ESPN Zone; the location had sat vacant since June 2018, initially to be demolished for a planned (and then canceled) fourth resort hotel. ESPN: The Store was appropriately renamed the Pop-Up Disney!
