There are two versions of this pin. This listing is for the special issue, which features brighter printing on the image insert, and the epoxy goes all the way to the edge of the pin, covering the gold metal rim. There's a backstamp on this version that reads "Special Issue Spring 1998". This special issue version is suspected to be limited edition but there's no confirmation of that on the pin.Features a monarch butterfly, a western lowland gorilla, a scarlet macaw (parrot), a rhinoceros, a golden lion tamarin, a Sumatran tiger, an African elephant, a manatee, a red-eyed tree frog, and what appears to be a yellow cichlid fish.
