Pin Description:
This is the Mickey Mouse as Scoop Sanderson pin from the Scoop and friends collection of 2010 hidden Mickey pins at WDW. This pin was only available by trading with a cast member.❗ WARNING: This pin has been counterfeited and is being sold directly from overseas factories. No one can guarantee the authenticity of this pin unless it was purchased directly from Disney (or an authorized retailer where applicable). Please note that counterfeits may still have entered circulation prior to the addition of this warning. ❗
COUNTERFEIT NOTES: The angle of the spikes on the pin trading logo is usually wrong. The space between them should be greater than 90 degrees. It also tends to look muddy and ill-defined.
There are also mold differences between the authentic and the fake. There's certain places where the lines are wobbly, and they aren't in the real pin. The squares on his trousers and jacket are the easiest place to see it (Issue A). There's also a square by his crotch (sorry Mickey) where the authentic pin has a metal triangle for definition, and that metal triangle is missing completely in the fake, and the square has wobbly lines in its place (Issue B). The part of his left arm where his wrist is showing should also be entirely metal, and the fake mold missed a tiny spot, which is typically filled in with white enamel. The cuff of that left glove also does not connect cleanly to the lines next to it (Issue C). The fake mold also missed the small line of the crease of Mickey's nose that should be peeking out from under his glasses (Issue D). The colours tend to be slightly too orange.
