17644 - WDW Cast Lanyard Series I: Disney Cat - Si and Am - Walt Disney World

This is part of the first series of Cast Lanyard exclusive pins released at WDW in 2002 to address the lack of diversity in trading options on cast lanyards. There were no hidden mickey symbols on these pins. The pins were released throughout the year in eight different batches, much like modern hidden mickey pins, however they did not release a whole design collection at once. Instead, they released one pin from each collection at a time. You could not complete a series until the final batch was released. The pins were found exclusively on WDW Cast Member Lanyards and were never available for sale with the exception of the Completers that were later released in 2006.

Released in Batch 5. This pin is an oval pin with the heads of Si and Am, the two Siamese cats from Lady and the Tramp. The pin has a blue background with the word Cat printed above Si and Am and two paw prints below them. Their whiskers stick off the edges of the pin.
