Pin Description:
1 of 5 pins in the limited edition Travel Journal 5-Pin Set released for the 2008 Expedition PINS event. An event exclusive (RSP Item #20) for $55 designed by Maria Clapsis.This LE300 pin features Pluto wearing cave exploring gear, which includes a backpack with a rolled up map sticking out of it.
Pluto's hard hat, which has a light attached to it, has illuminated a bat! The bat's wings are a hinged pin element which open to reveal the full size of the bat.
The words next to the pin on the backer card read as follows:"The caves were dark and cold.We angered a colony of sleeping bats which made us run for our lives.Our hearts heavy, we left the caves without the pins.We are running out of time and places to look."
