Pin Description:

This limited edition spinner pin celebrates Disneyland’s Mark III Monorail introduced in 1969. It is a special pin released in August 2005 for the Magical Milestones: A Pin Celebration pin series. It features a depiction of the Mark III monorail that spins around a circular base approximately 1 5/8” in diameter with a pin-on-pin element in the center.

The center element has three parts stacked on top of each other. From top to bottom: a gold art deco design resembling pilot wings with a Disneyland “D” at the top and "DISNEYLAND MONORAIL" in the center, "MARK III” in white text against a red rectangle 2/3 the length of the art deco element, and “1969" in red text against a white rectangle half the length of the preceding one.

The back of the pin has a matte gold textured background with a polished background inside the embossed backstamps: the Magical Milestones event logo, Official Pin Trading 2005 logo, on 2 lines “©DISNEY | MADE IN CHINA,” and on 2 lines “SURPRISE PIN | LIMITED EDITION OF 750.”
