Pin Description:

Tinker Bell is depicted as a topiary on this pin. There is a white flower in her hair and white and yellow flowers falling beside her. Along the right side of the pin is written Disney's across the top with the word Topiary in green going down the side.

This is the first series of Hidden Mickey pins released at WDW in 2002. There was no hidden mickey symbol on the pins. The pins were released throughout the year on different dates. The pins were found exclusively on WDW Cast Member Lanyards and were not for sale.

There are six topiary pins. Another almost identical set of topiary pins were released in 2007 with the hidden mickey symbol printed on them.

This pin can have either the 2002 or 2003 pin trading backstamp. For trading purposes, note that the 2003 backstamp of this pin is somewhat different than the 2002 original issue. The gold area on the front and back is lighter in gold tone and smoother on the 2003 pins. Though no doubt intended to be the same, it was not made the same way and seems to qualify as a variation.
