This is part of the first series of Cast Lanyard exclusive pins released at WDW in 2002 to address the lack of diversity in trading options on cast lanyards. There were no hidden mickey symbols on these pins. The pins were released throughout the year in eight different batches, much like modern hidden mickey pins, however they did not release a whole design collection at once. Instead, they released one pin from each collection at a time. You could not complete a series until the final batch was released. The pins were found exclusively on WDW Cast Member Lanyards and were never available for sale with the exception of the Completers that were later released in 2006. Another almost identical set of topiary pins were released in 2007 with the hidden mickey symbol printed on them. Another almost identical set of topiary pins were released in 2007 with the hidden mickey symbol printed on them.

Tinker Bell was released in Batch 6. Tinker Bell is depicted as a topiary on this pin. There is a white flower in her hair and white and yellow flowers falling beside her. Along the right side of the pin is written Disney's across the top with the word Topiary in green going down the side.

This pin can have either the 2002 or 2003 pin trading backstamp. For trading purposes, note that the 2003 backstamp of this pin is somewhat different than the 2002 original issue. The gold area on the front and back is lighter in gold tone and smoother on the 2003 pins. Though no doubt intended to be the same, it was not made the same way and seems to qualify as a variation.
