This is the cast lanyard version, released to cast members in 2002. The hidden mickey version is Pin & Pop ID 97819.

This pin is a rectangle shaped Florida license plate with a capital letter "I" in dark green, then a red heart, followed by the word “MICKEY” in dark green all caps. There is no Mickey head icon on the front. The background image is that of a Mickey head icon. The authentic version will be a light green, while many fakes are dark green in color. On the top left is an orange box with APR printed in it. On the top right is a yellow box with '02 printed in it. Centered across the bottom are the words Walt Disney World in dark green.

The back of the authentic version of this pin has the date 2002 in the Mickey head pin trading logo. Under that is a box with the word "Disney" in classic Disney font, and under that the words "Made in China." On the right is a box with the word "Disney's" in classic Disney font, and under that, the words, "Lanyard Pin Series."

The dimensions of this hidden pin are exactly 4.5 cm by slightly longer (2-3 mm) than 1.5 cm. There are no sharp pricks/nubs on the back of the pins in this series; only a single pin post.

This is the first series of Hidden Mickey pins released at WDW in 2002. There was no hidden mickey symbol on the pins. The pins were released throughout the year on different dates. The pins were found exclusively on WDW Cast Member Lanyards and were not for sale.

There are eight license plate pins: 39558, 39559, 20837, 39560, 39561, 39562, 39563, and 39564. Another almost identical set of License Plate pins were released in 2007 with the hidden mickey symbol printed on them.
