Did you know?
This attraction opened on June 14, 1959 and it was the first daily operating monorail in the United States. The Monorail beam was extended, with the new Mark II trains, to the Disneyland® Hotel in 1961. At that time, it was the first monorail in the United States to actually cross a public street.
