This Open Edition pin features Sorcerer Mickey battling Maleficent the Dragon. Maleficent's fire slides from side to side and the "Fantasmic!" logo is a pin-on-pin. Disney Design Group Artist Chris Chapman designed this pin.

To prepare Fantasmic!, the Rivers of America had to be drained to enable the installation of various mechanisms, and the mill and part of the south end of Tom Sawyer Island were removed so the rustic stage setting for the show could be built.
