Pin & Pop Trading FAQ

1. What is a Pop-Up Pin Board?

   A Pop-Up Pin Board is a limited time, unique online pin trading experience created by Pin & Pop.

2. Who is the Pop-Up Pin Board for?

   This special event is for new and experienced pin traders alike. While certain Pop-Up Pin Boards will focus on either lower value pins or limited edition pins, most events will showcase a variety of pins.

   To participate you must have an account on Pin & Pop. Only active accounts will get access to the online event link.

3. Where does the Pop-Up Pin Board happen?

   These trade events happen exclusively on the Pin & Pop website. A limited time access link will be provided just before the event starts.

   Also, there is a facebook group where you can win prizes by participating in special contests. Join the Facebook group.

4. Is this kind of trade event new?

   Yes, this type of online trading event is an experiment created by Pin & Pop. Therefore, we need to hear from you on how the event goes and what improvements need to be made. We will send out a survey after the event to get your feedback.

5. How do I participate in a P&P Pop-Up Pin Board Event?

   To participate, you must first have an active account on Pin & Pop. Second, you will also need to have pins marked as traders in your account that you can use to trade during the event.

6. How do I set up traders in my P&P account?

   It is easy to add traders into your account. Search for the pin you own and have available for trade. Click the arrow next to the "OWN" button. When the drop down opens, click on "Trader". That's it!

7. What happens after I submit some pins for trades?

   The pin trade option(s) you've submitted will be presented to the pin owner immediately when the trade event ends. Once they have reviewed and picked their trades (within 3 business days) you will be notified by email if your pin was accepted or declined.

8. My trade was accepted! Now what?

   Both trading parties send their pins through Pin & Pop's Trade Protection. Not only does this provide an extra layer of security and privacy for our members, but Pin & Pop's Trade Protection also guarantees that both pins are received and verified as authentic before they're sent on to their new owners.

9. How do I use Pin & Pop's Trade Protection?

   Mail your pins as soon as you receive your acceptance email.

   Please email Pin & Pop at jenn@pinandpop.com to update us on your tracking. If Pin & Pop does not receive tracking information then we are not responsible for a pin that does not arrive.

10. When will I receive my new pin from the trade?

    Pin & Pop will mail both pins to their new owners as soon as both pins are received. Pin & Pop will email you with a tracking number when those pins go out.
