Pin Description:
Mickey holding a banjo from Dixie Landings.Note: There are multiple backstamps of this pin. One with the Millennium Celebration back stamp, and one with a Disney copyright in the autograph font. The Dixie Landings Resort closed in April of 2001, and merged with its sister resort, Port Orleans. As pin trading only began in 2000 and the first pin trading pins produced used the Millennium Celebration 2000 logo, it is unlikely that Disney would've reproduced the pin for four months in 2001, knowing that the resort would merge. This makes the pin without the Millennium Celebration from 1999 or earlier. If you know the dates this version of the pin was produced, please contribute them.
Millennium Celebration backstamp: Reverse of pin has a waffle pattern with a square including the Year 2000 hidden Mickey logo and the following text:
“Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand / Walt Disney World / ©️ Disney / MADE IN CHINA”
