Pin Description:
In celebration of Walt Disney Imagineering's 50th Anniversary, Disneyland Resort and WDI have partnered on a limited edition pin series celebrating the Theme Parks and Resorts WDI has developed.There are two versions of each of the pins produced: a limited edition of 1952 pins (the year WDI was established) released at Disneyland Resort, and a "Gold" version, limited to 2500 pieces, that was available exclusively to WDI Cast Members at Mickey's of Glendale (Pinpics #19925).
Each pin has a pin on pin at the bottom that features Sorcerer Mickey standing in front of a yellow "50." This pin features a silver Spaceship Earth with the original Epcot logo in blue and silver on it on the top half of the pin. The bottom half is a yellow banner that reads in blue letters, "Epcot Center" and below that "Walt Disney Imagineering" and Est. December 1952
