Pin Description:
This pin features a gold mickey icon with a Walt Disney signature D in the center of it. The areas between the D and the border of the mickey icon are recessed and feature a sandblasted texture.This pin was distributed to convention guide cast members who worked events. It was also used to identify points of contact at the conventions. It's unclear how many events this pin was distributed at, or which ones.
There is a similar version of this pin that has a black enamel inlay inside of the Disney D. It can look similar to the gold one under bad lighting, so verify which one you have for most accurate cataloguing.
