Pin Description:
Reads "Disney Times" at the top and 1932 at the bottom.The eighth in a series of 12 pins reproducing the history of the Mickey Mouse Sunday comic strip. The frame of the pin reads "Disney Times" on the top and "1932" on the bottom.
The front of the pin shows Mickey in front of a white picket fence talking with Pluto, he says "Come On Doggie! I'm Your Friend--I'll Save You! Don't Be Afraid!" The panel spins around to show a black and white classic Mickey with this information "From Mickey's early 1940s publicity statement: "Well, along about this time, Walt decided that I should have a permanent pet.First, we had to find a name for him."
