Pin Description:
WDW - Surprise Pin #3 - FlubberThis pin is Flubber, from the movie of the same name. It is a smiling green piece of blob, outlined in blue, with the word "Flubber" in white and "2000" in yellow. Green bubbles are coming out of the "u" in "Flubber." Artist: Randy Noble.
Surprise pins were a series of unannounced pins that were released in a single location, and usually LE 1000. Also, known as Mystery Pins, but that term has taken on a different meaning as Disney Pin Trading has evolved. This pin was only released at Pin Central in Epcot, and the American Adventure and Millennium Village Pin Carts. Pin Central got 250 pins, and the carts got 125 each.
The pin identifies the number XXX / 500 on the back of it. (FYI--When a pin is individually numbered, those numbers are all written by hand.)
NOTE: There are counterfeits of this pin that do not have the number on the back.
