This Limited Edition pin celebrates the first Disney merchandise item - a Mickey Mouse children's pencil tablet. Walt Disney licensed this item in 1929 following a chance meeting in a New York hotel lobby. The pin contains a pin-on-pin pencil below the image of Walt Disney. The Mickey Mouse Tablet is hinged. When opened, it features a sketch of Mickey Mouse
