Prior to the theatrical release of Tron: Legacy, there was an online viral campaign dedicating to helping prove the Flynn lives, and trying to find him (called an ARG- Alternate Reality Game). Eventually, 'Encom' (the company in the movie that released Flynn's games) announced that 'Space Paranoids Online' was going live soon. A website was created that had a countdown to the day the game would go live, but it had animated Recognizers that you could shoot.If you shoot 999 of them, you would receive one of these pins (with other goodies) in the mail.

Back of pin has a sort of plain, sort of frosted looking metal with no other markings.The metal is sort of a dark silver in color, and the pin has two pin posts that are a little off-center.
Originally came in an unmarked zip-lock style baggie, packed in a paper envelope that says FLYNN LIVES. This was packed in a larger shipping envelope with some flyers and stickers.
