Pin Description:
This Africa-shaped pin can only be obtained during Animal Kingdom Lodge's Sense of Africa tour, which started May 2016. The tour kicks off at Boma — Flavors of Africa in the Animal Kingdom Lodge with a large African-style breakfast buffet. Cast members explain the cultural relevance of the food and decorations. Finally, guests get to ride a private safari vehicle and go backstage to meet and feed okapi, giraffes, ostriches, etc. with photo ops included. The pin's back has a silver Mickey waffle. The importance of humanity's part in conservation is portrayed on this pin through the reticulated giraffe pattern, human fingerprint, and okapi stripes.Updated 2024-09-06 07:22:31
