Description
The yellow Mark III Monorail is featured as one of a series of 67 pins released in the summer of 1998, prior to the official start of Disney pin trading, featuring some of the favorite attractions at Disneyland over the years - both present at that time and retired. This pin is not of a Mark I Monorail (Mark I only had a Red or Blue). This appears to be a Mark III based on the number of cars. This pin the monorail gliding from right to left on a white track; the monorail has a dark blue windshield. The background is a medium blue. The word "MONORAIL" is in red, surrounded by a dark blue patch; beneath it is the Disneyland® logo in white. The gold-finished pin measures 1 1/4" (3.5 cm) wide and 1 1/4" (3.5 cm) tall. The backstamp reads "© DISNEY."
