Pin Description:
Designed by Jeff Ebersohl, this pin is a depiction of the sign that once stood guard over the entrance to The Magic of Animation building that has since become The Star Wars Launch Bay in Animation Courtyard at MGM Studios, now Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Different shades of blue enamel form what was the stained glass style mosaics that boarder the left and right of this pin. Between them, Mickey, as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice is raise up on his platform of rocks. His left arm is raised as if he is commanding the water around him. “The Magic of Disney Animation” is written across the the Art Deco influenced sign below Mickey. Under the sign, there is a pencil layered below a paintbrush which has Disney Artist Choice embossed across it.The back is lightly textured and contains the Lights, Camera, Pins Logo, the Official 2004 Pin Trading Logo, the (c), made in info, Event Exclusive, Artist name, and Limited Edition Number.
