This pin is apart of a series of 10 pin that were first introduced at The Walt Disney Family Museum museum store during its pre-grand opening week. The museum (which opened at 104 Montgomery Street in The Presido of San Fransico on October 1, 2009) had a Logo feature 9 small squares, each a different color and each highlighting a different aspect of Walt’s life. - Red: Mickey Mouse - Teal: Movie Camera (Live Action Movies) - Yellow: Film Reel (Animated Movies) - Green: TV (Wonderful World is Disney) - Deep Blue: **Walt Disney** - Purple: Artist Palette & Paintbrush (Art & Color) - Light Blue: (Sleeping Beauty) Castle Spire (Disneyland) - Gold: Ink Bottle (Ink & Paint Department) The first of the 10 pins featured the full logo with all 9 of these colored squares. The additional 9 pins comprised of highlighting only one of these squares. This pin is the one to highlight Mickey Mouse. The logo is white on the red colored background. Below the Walt logo, the words “The Walt Disney Family Museum” are center justified. The back of this pin has a light grid like texture.
