This cast exclusive pin celebrated the renovation of Mickey's Fun Wheel attraction in Disney's California Adventure park. Sail 'round the glimmering face of iconic Mickey on this spin-sational Ferris wheel! On Mickey's Fun Wheel, the rotating rays of the wheel spokes twinkle like a kaleidoscope on this spectacular experience that rises approximately 150 feet into the air for 9 exhilarating minutes! The attraction's gondolas can ride up to 5 brave souls in one of the 8 traditional gondolas mounted to the outer rim that sway as the wheel spins. Or dare to board one of the 16 "free-mounted" gondolas that slip and slide back and forth along the tracks inside the spokes. This pin features Tinker Bell in her green pixie dress holding a gold wand and sparkles in her iridescent blue wings. At her feet in Yellow and gold letters on a white background is the Disney California Adventure logo. She and the logo are a 3D element on an engraved silhouette of Mickey's Fun Wheel background of bright gold. The back of the pin has two vertical posts on a gold Mickey icon waffle pattern. Center left is the official 2011 pin trading logo and to the right of that is a rectangle with: CAST EXCLUSIVE Limited Edition 1500 (C)Disney China. This pin series, available only at all DLR/DCA Team Stores is not to be considered a POM, since the pins will only be released as a new DCA attraction is officially opened. This is the first in the series and so far there are two more to be tentatively released in March and May.
