TDR - Mickey & Donald Setsubun DayThis pin features Mickey and Donald dressed for Setsubun Day at Tokyo Disney Resort / Tokyo Disneyland.The celebration on the day before the first day of spring in Japan.Part of the festival is throwing soybeans out the door to chase away oni (naughty ogres or spirits). Mickey in blue white and yellow.Mickey appears to be holding a container/box of soybeans to throw (the backing card shows soybeans flying through the air.Donald appears to be on the receiving end of the soybeans.He has closed one eye and is jumping out of the way.Donald is wearing a green top covered with a brown animal striped vest.There is a red demon like creature on Donald head (perhaps to represent the Oni?)
