This round black metal pin is similar to the Disney pin trading logo pins (PTP). Mickey is in the center of a red ring and purple circle, holding out three pins in his left hand. A yellow ribbon passes through the circles and behind Mickey. Written on the red ring is "Pin Trading" above Mickey and "Traditions" below him.
"Traditions" is the name of the Walt Disney World cast introduction and orientation class. This is a pin given as a gift upon completion of this class. The pin is given to new cast members with a card that reads:"Pin Trading at Walt Disney World Resort began with the Millennium Celebration kick-off in 1999. Since then, it has become a Disney tradition and has created tangible memories for our Guests from around the world. Now you have the opportunity to carry on that tradition as a Walt Disney World Cast Member!" There are also 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 versions of this pin. The pin measures 1 3/8" (35 mm) wide by 1 1/4" (32 mm) tall.
