WDI - EPCOT Poster Series 3 - Universe of EnergyThis limited edition jumbo pin is based upon an attraction (ride) at EPCOT (Experimental Protocol Community of Tomorrow) at Walt Disney World Resort. It was released by Mickey's of Glendale (MOG) / Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) to Cast Members only. It measures 3.173" wide and 4.65" high.
The pin's shape is a replica of a poster that was used to advertise the attraction.
This pin features the 1982 Epcot attraction
Universe of Energy Pavilion. It was sponsored by Exxon (later ExxonMobil) from 1982-2004.
In 2017, Universe of Energy closed forever to be replaced by a ride based on Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy."
