Pin Description:
Inspired by artwork created by the Disney Design Group, this Jumbo pin is from a collection of 20 Jumbo pins. Each Jumbo pin celebrates 50 Years of Disney Theme Parks and is packaged in a box. An Artist Bio is also included with the pin. Susana Diercks from Disney Design Group has titled this pin "All Aboard!" The pin features a locomotive that slides back and forth. The mouse ears feature the logos for the Walt Disney World® Railroad and the Disneyland® Resort Railroad. The dangle says, "Trains." This silver-finished, textured-back pin measures 2 3/4" tall by 3 1/2" wide. It is backstamped, on the left ear, with the 2006 pin trading logo and, "Walt Disney World(R)-CELEBRATING-50 YEARS-OF DISNEY THEME PARKS", on the right ear with the Happiest Celebration on Earth logo, and in the center with, "SUSANA-MICKEY EAR HAT COLLECTION-LIMITED EDITION OF 750-(C)DISNEY MADE IN CHINA". Susana's bio reads: "Walt loved trains so much he had one in his own backyard. In 1955 Disneyland Park opened, and with it, a real steam engine train in which guests could travel from one land to the next. I remember climbing on the train at the Magic Kingdom Park when I was a kid. It was my first time at the Walt Disney World Resort, and also my first time on a train. Today, that train still looks as cool as it did then. This pin is a tribute to Walt and the memories created as we embark in the magic."
