Description
This pin was given to guests who attended the Pin Celebration at Epcot in September 2002. In November 2002, registered guests of the Pin Celebration received a FedEx which contained this pin and another Walt with Figment Pin and Epcot Ball Pin Stand. A letter was also enclosed which read: "The enclosed Figment pin was not available for purchase and not distributed to our cast members. The artwork for this pin was originally designed to be used as a staff pin prior to our decision to use for credentials for our staff and guests. This pin was limited to 1,200 pieces and is being made available only to you, our package guests for participating in the event. You will also find enclosed an additional gift from the event. The gift was originally planned for 1,200 pieces; however, a mistake was made during production and the edition size climbed to 2,400. We felt that you, our package guests, should each get an additional event gift." This pin features a Figment Head and the 2002 Pin Celebration Logo on the front. The back has the 2002 Pin Trading Logo, the Pin Celebration Logo and "Cast Member Access".
