Pin Description:
Lenticular Pin of "GOOD" and BAD Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty" - image changes when pin is tilted. Originally released via Random Selection Process (RSP) at the Disney Divas Villain Event on October 26, 2000. At the Divas event it was announced that these pins would be sold at Disneyland. They were sold as an advanced purchase opportunity to those attending the Divas event. Orders were filled based on the amount pre-ordered. An exact number on the quantity made was not revealed but expected to be in the range of 2000. The back of the pin is not stamped as a limited edition. It is stamped Disney Divas. Several months following the event, the pins were offered for sale at the Disneyana Shop on Main Street. These pins were leftovers from the event and, thus, backstamped: Disney Divas. In early 2003, Disney sold the pins to cast members, however these versions are NOT backstamped: Disney Divas.Updated 2023-07-31 13:41:27
