Description
Introducing the fifth pin in the 2013 Disney Poster Art Pin Series! This limited edition pin for May showcases the poster design by Disney Design Group Artist, Betsy DePadova. A display easel is included with this poster pin. The top of the poster reads '2013 Believe in Magic'. The poster design features Mickey Mouse with a giant horseshoe, and black and white doodles of Disney characters, attractions, and other Disney icons. The character silhouettes are of Jiminy Cricket, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck. The attraction silhouettes are the Mad Tea Party teacups, the Monorail, Space Mountain, and Sleeping Beauty Castle. The other items are Mickey balloons, a Mickey Mouse earhat, the Sorcerer Hat, the Magic Lamp from Aladdin, stars, hearts, music notes, dice, an ace of spades, a wishbone, a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, a dragonfly, the number seven, a four leaf clover, and horseshoes. There is a red number 13 in the middle of the design, with the words Two Thousand going over the one. The frame for this poster is a pewter filigree with red mickey icons in each corner. The Disney Parks Blog featured a few words from the designer about this design: “I enjoy doodling,” said Betsy. “For this poster, I incorporated some ‘lucky’ icons from the 2013 dated program style guide into my design. I also added a few hidden characters and more that I hope guests enjoy finding.”
