Description
WDI - Mulan 25th Anniversary Medallion Series - Yao, Ling and Chien Po This limited edition pin on pin features Yao, Ling and Chien Po, Mulan's friends from the Chinese army. They are dressed as ladies, complete with make up, as they defeat Shan Yu's army at The Emperor's Palace. The pin is round and the outer border is the Chinese meander, which is also called yunwen and leiwen (a cloud and thunder pattern). It is a repetitive ornamental pattern of lines winding in S-forms, connected opposed or separate. Yao, Ling and Chien Po are the pin-on-pin element. Mulan's white flower, a magnolia liliiflora but sometimes incorrectly referred to as a lotus flower, is at the bottom of the pin. The pin measures 3" W x 3.59" H. The limited edition pin was released by Walt Disney Imagineering through Mickey's of Glendale, a cast member only store on June 19, 2023 and sold out the same day.
