Description
This is one of six pins in a series released at the annual Disney Pin Trading event held at Epcot in 2011 (this one was themed for The Florida Project), commemorating the 40th anniversary of the construction of Walt Disney World. Each pin is hinged with a different color and a gold construction hat on the front, while the inside features a different opening day attraction. This front of each pin also says, "Building Walt Disney World One Story at a Time", and "Opening Oct. 1971". This pin is red, and the inside features Cinderella's Castle. Mickey Mouse is holding a blueprint of the castle and wearing a construction hat, while Dumbo is carrying a flag to the top of the castle in the background. The inside face of the hinge says, "The Florida Project", "Cinderella Castle", and "Walt Disney World". The tab to the right reads "Happy Place". Quynh Kimball and Mike Sullivan designed the artwork for each of these pins.
