This Limited Edition pin features Mickey Mouse next to a Disney monorail. The monorail slides back and forth on the pin. The "Dave Smith Medallion" is a pin-on-pin. Natalie Bert from Disney Design Group created the artwork for this pin. It is #3 out of 20 in the Dave Smith collection. Dave says, "The Monorail, the first daily-operating monorail in the country, began service at Disneyland® Park on June 14, 1959." Dave says, "Walt Disney (1901-1966) was a remarkable innovator and pioneer of the theme park." In partnership with Dave Smith, director of the Walt Disney Company Archives and long-time Disney Historian, the Walt Disney World® Resort is delighted to announce a new Limited Edition "pin-of-the-month" collection.
