Description
From the CHERRY BLOSSOM SERIES (WAVE 2), this pin was released on 30 January 2025 at Pink a la Mode. The pin comes on a decorative card and features CHIP and DALE from various Disney animated short films. This limited edition, cutout pin features Chip and Dale running with a skewer of Japanese dango above their head. Dango is a type of sweet dumpling that is served on skewers. The type of dango Chip and Dale have are a special treat served during the sakura (cherry blossom) viewing season and are called hanami dango. Traditionally, one dumpling will be colored white to represent the blossoms in full bloom, one will be colored green to represent the color the blossoms turn once they fall from the trees, and one is colored pink to represent cherry buds. In this pin, the pink dango has been replaced with a cherry blossom.
