To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Classics Collection Society (Anniversary titled “Decade of Dreams”), this twelve pin set was released for a limited time. Every year, the Collection used a different production mark to indicate the year the collectors item was released. Each mark represents an important piece of Disney Animation. These productions marks include 1996: Donald Duck's Hat from the "Wise Little Hen" short.

Donald Duck made his screen debut in “Wise Little Hen,” which was based on the fairy tale "The Little Red Hen." Even during this early representation, Donald was dressed in his famous sailor suit complete with hat. That is why the hat was a great symbol for the 1996 production mark. Donald’s hat is a blue enamel on a gold-colored base metal. It is a pin-on-pin with the base pin being the main logo of the WDCC in a shade of Prussian Blue. The back of the pin has Singing Harp (2003 production mark) waffling. Under the single post is a smoothed box with the following information: "©Disney Walt Disney Collectors Society Exclusive 1996 China." The pin back is a plain black circle. This set came in an embossed box.
