To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Classics Collection Society (Anniversary titled “Decade of Dreams”), this 12 pin set was released for a limited time. Every year, the Collection used a different production mark to indicate the year the collectors item was released. Each mark represents an important piece of Disney Animation. These productions marks include the 2001 butterfly from "Bambi."

Bambi was the Studio’s first step toward more dramatic realism and away from fantasy. The film is still a favorite as it still features some sweet humor as is represented by the butterfly which Bambi mistakes for a bird. This feature is considered one of the crowning achievements of The Walt’s Disney Studio’s catalog. It was also recognized as the third best movie in the Animated Feature genre by the American Film Association. The Butterfly is a green enamel on a gold-colored base metal. It is a pin-on-pin with the base pin being the main logo of the WDCC in a shade of Prussian Blue.

The back of the pin has Singing Harp (2003 production mark) waffling. Under the single post is a smoothed box with the following information: "©Disney Walt Disney Collectors Society Exclusive 2001 China." The pin back is a plain black circle. This set came in an embossed box.
