Pin Description:
This pin was available in both a cast member exclusive 40th Anniversary framed set and an Disneyland Alumni boxed set. Both of these were gifts.The framed set featured six pins that were part of a set created to celebrate Disneyland's 40th anniversary in 1995. This framed collection was distributed to cast members. While the individual pins were not numbered, the back of the framed set did have a number assigned to it.
The second set was from Disneyland's Alumni Club Happiest Reunion on Earth set. It included three pins that came in a plastic case to honor the anniversary event that took place on July 16, 1995.
The pin showcases Mickey Mouse, who is facing left and waving while seated inside the zero of the phrase "40 YEARS OF ADVENTURE". The text is a yellow and orange gradient. Below that is the Disneyland logo in redin the lower right corner, accompanied by a black-and-white illustration of the Sleeping Beauty Castle at the top. The background is white with gold accents.
This pin has an epoxy coating and as such, may yellow over time.
