Pin Description:
This pin was apart of a cast exclusive set. Each pin had a trading card that provided details about each attraction. The attractions represented in this collection were all extinct attractions that had closed by 1990. This particular pin commemorates the now-retired Disneyland marquee and features the sign with a cloud in the sky and bushes at the base.The accompanying trading card read as follows:
"For 32 years, the Disneyland
marquee towered over the main entrance to the Park on Harbor Boulevard. Erected in 1958, this huge sign greeted Guests with its giant letters and what was then a state-of-the-art message board that that displayed current information about daily activities and entertainment in Pthe Park. It was replaced in 1990."
This set was sold at Company D in Walt Disney World as well.
