One of a series of pins sold to cast members only during Disneyland's 40th anniversary. There are fourteen pins in the series, released in three separate sets of five, five, and four pins. Each pin in the series represents an attraction that was closed and removed from Disneyland before 1995 and came with a trading card with a description. This pin is a part of Set #2. This shows the Rainbow Caverns Mine Train attraction, which closed in 1977. The pin shows a yellow, gold, black, blue and red train exiting a yellow, purple and turquoise cavern.

The trading card read as follows:

"With inspiration from his
Academy Award-winning film, The Living Desert, Walt treated Guests to a train ride across the colorful American Southwest. Opening in 1956, the attraction was updated four years later to include scenes from two other True-Life Adventures, Beaver Valley and Bear Country. Renamed Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland, it remained until Big Thunder Mountain Railroad took its place in 1979."

Also sold at Company D at Walt Disney World (Disney / MGM). The set of five pins was sold for $20.00 at both locations.
