One of a series of pins sold to cast members only during Disneyland's 40th anniversary. There are fourteen pins in the series, released in three separate sets of five, five, and four pins. Each pin in the series represents an attraction that was closed and removed from Disneyland before 1995. This pin is a part of Set #2.
This shows the the House of the Future attraction, which closed in 1967. The pin shows the house, with a grassy base, and a blue sky behind.

The trading card has the following caption:

"Located where Alpine Gardens
now stands, the Monsanto House of the Future seemed to hover above beautiful landscaping. This modular, prefabricated fiberglass structure was so sturdy that when the time came to remove the attraction in 1967 after ten years of service, even a wrecking ball failed to bring down the House. It had to be cut into pieces with hacksaws and disassembled in pieces, much as it had been originally constructed."

Also sold at Company D at Walt Disney World (Disney / MGM). The set of five pins was sold for $20.00 at both locations.
